About Creative Care
A more personal approach to nursing — one that allows time to listen, teach, coordinate, and walk alongside individuals and families.
Kristina Moody, BSN, RN
Founder & Registered Nurse, Creative Care
For more than 20 years, nursing has given me the privilege of caring for people during some of life's most important and vulnerable moments. My experience has taught me that excellent nursing involves much more than completing a task or carrying out a treatment. It means listening carefully, recognizing needs, providing education, promoting safety, advocating for the individual, and helping patients and families understand their options.
I founded Creative Care to provide a more personal approach to nursing — one that allows time to listen, teach, coordinate, and walk alongside individuals and families as they navigate healthcare, recovery, aging, and changes in independence.
Why Creative Care?
Healthcare can be complicated. A hospital discharge, new diagnosis, surgery, change in mobility, medication concerns, or the growing needs of an aging family member can leave individuals and families wondering what to do next. Creative Care provides access to an experienced registered nurse who can help make those situations easier to understand and manage.
My role is not to take control of a person's healthcare decisions, but to provide professional nursing assessment, education, guidance, coordination, and support so that individuals and families can make informed decisions with greater confidence.
My Approach to Nursing
I believe nursing should care for the whole person.
Physical health is important, but so are emotional well-being, independence, dignity, personal values, family relationships, and spiritual needs. Every person's circumstances are different, which is why Creative Care begins by listening. Care is individualized according to each person's needs, goals, preferences, and healthcare plan. When desired, that may also include compassionate presence and spiritual support during illness, recovery, caregiving, aging, or difficult healthcare transitions.
More Than a Service
One of the things that makes Creative Care different is the opportunity to develop an ongoing nursing relationship. Instead of feeling like just another appointment or number, clients and families work directly with an RN who can become familiar with their concerns, history, preferences, goals, and changing needs.
Sometimes what a person needs most is education. Sometimes it is someone to help coordinate care or communicate with healthcare providers. Sometimes it is another set of experienced eyes recognizing a safety concern. And sometimes it is simply having a knowledgeable and compassionate nurse beside them during a difficult season.
That is the kind of nursing relationship Creative Care was created to provide.
